Biggest difference from the Hub 1.
The Ajax Hub 2 (4G) is compatible with the Ajax Motioncam. In addition, the Backup Battery has been slightly improved. The battery now lasts 15 hours in case of power failure instead of 10 hours. Also, the improved hub can hold two GSM 4G SIM cards instead of one.

Difference between the hub 2 and hub 2 (4G)

As the name suggests, the hub 2(4G) also supports 4G backup SIM cards. With the normal hub2, it is still 2G.

The AJAX wireless alarm system does have a reached up to 1500m open field. This is fine for a home or business premises.

Battery
The batteries of the AJAX alarm system last up to 7 years. There is a backup battery in the AJAX central unit for when the power goes out. This keeps the AJAX alarm system fully functioning. The battery lasts up to 10 hours in the event of a power failure. If power is lost, a notification will be sent to the specified alert addresses. This then goes over Ethernet and/or through the GSM network.
