The Hikvision DS-2DE3A404IW-DE is a Full HD 4MP mini outdoor PT dome with 4x zoom, IR night vision, PoE, 120dB WDR, white light, speaker/microphone and microSD card recording. The camera can tilt, rotate and zoom (Pan/Tilt). The camera has an integrated wall mount.
Capabilities
The Hikvision DS-2DE3A404IW-DE displays images in a Full HD 2560x1440 resolution. The camera has a motorized 2.8 - 12mm lens with a horizontal angle of view of 96.7 to 31.6 degrees.
Due to the highly light-sensitive image chip (Darkfighter technology), the camera still provides a usable color image with a minimum of ambient light. In very dark conditions, the camera can also switch on the built-in IR lighting so that even images in complete darkness (0 Lux) can be viewed. The IR illumination has a range of 50 meters. The camera has a built-in automatic IR-cut filter, making it a true day/night camera. The camera also features 120dB Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) which allows the camera to cope very well with complex lighting conditions due to for example backlighting of the sun or car headlights.
The camera also features a white light LED lamp with up to 30 meters range and has built-in 2-way audio for audio alarms.
Images can be stored on a Network Video Recorder (NVR), among other things. The camera also has the ability to record into the camera on a microSD memory card up to 256Gb.
Hikvision has a free app available for Apple iOS and Android. The camera has an internal web server that can be viewed and managed with a web browser.
The Hikvision DS-2DE3A404IW-DE has an IP66 rating which makes the camera ideal for outdoor use. For ease of installation, the camera can be powered with Power over Ethernet (standard 802.3at P0E) via the network cable. PoE can be obtained through a PoE NVR, a PoE switch or with a PoE injector.
