The RC-188J is used as a wireless panic or emergency button. The JA-188J is designed as a remote control to turn the alarm system on/off or control other devices remotely. It provides tamper sensors and monitors the voltage of its battery. The key activation response is optional. The general response is a panic alarm or turning the system on or off (is selectable). Other responses can be assigned in the service mode of the control panel.
