Warranty Policy

1. For all items you buy at Jaggs Alarm, the legal warranty applies. The legal warranty means that the sold and delivered goods at delivery meet the reasonable user requirements for those goods. For some products there is also a manufacturer's warranty. This guarantee does not detract from the legal guarantee. The buyer is obliged to investigate with due diligence after delivery of the ordered goods whether Jaggs Alarm has properly fulfilled the agreement, and is also obliged to inform Jaggs Alarm of any observed defects as soon as possible, preferably within 5 days after delivery.
2. If for purchased and/or delivered goods warranty provisions are set by the manufacturer, they will be communicated to Buyer by Jaggs Alarm at the time of delivery, after which these provisions will be part of the agreement of sale and delivery between Buyer and Jaggs Alarm. The manufacturer's warranty is 2 years, only upon presentation of the invoice. If another warranty period is indicated on the product page, that is leading. The warranty periods listed on the product pages are our warranty.
3. Jaggs Alarm warrants that craft work on behalf of Buyer is performed by competent personnel.
4. Jaggs Alarm assesses complaints and determines how complaints are handled. If Jaggs Alarm decides that the complaint is justified, Jaggs Alarm will act according to any factory and or wholesale warranty:
5. Notwithstanding the provisions of this article, there can be no warranty if the wear and tear on the goods can be considered normal and further in the following cases:

• if changes have been made in or to the goods, including repairs not made with the permission of Jaggs Alarm or the manufacturer;
• if defects in the goods are the result of improper or injudicious use and or not competently installed by a competent person;
• if damage to the goods is caused by intentional, gross negligence or omission on the part of Buyer;
• exposure to humidity, extreme heat or sunlight or extreme cold.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to revoke the agreement within a period of 14 days without giving reasons. When the consumer uses the right of withdrawal and the product was financed with a financing agreement, the financing agreement is automatically dissolved. The withdrawal period expires 14 days from the day on which you or a third party designated by you, other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the good. To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must notify us by an unequivocal statement (e.g. in writing, by post, fax or e-mail) to withdraw from the contract. You may use the model withdrawal form for this purpose, but are not obliged to do so. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired. When the consumer exercises the right of withdrawal and the product has been financed with a financing agreement, the financing agreement is automatically cancelled.

Consequences of withdrawal

If you withdraw from the contract, you will receive all payments made by you up to that point, including delivery costs (with the exception of any additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us) back from us without delay and in any event no later than 14 days after we have been informed of your decision to withdraw from the contract. If you return only part of your order, the cost of delivery will not be refunded. We will refund you using the same means of payment with which you made the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not be charged for such refund. We may wait to refund you until we have received the goods back, or you have demonstrated that you have returned the goods, whichever comes first.

You must return or hand over the goods to us without delay, but in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your decision to withdraw from the contract to us. You are on time if you return the goods before the 14-day period has expired.

You are responsible for the direct costs of returning the goods. You are only liable for the depreciation of the goods resulting from the use of the goods beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
