The Dahua IPC-HFW81230E-Z-S2 displays very sharp images in a 12 Megapixel 4000x3000 resolution. With the built-in motorized 4.1-16.4mm varifocal lens, it is possible to focus the camera from a distance. The angle of the camera is adjustable between 85 and 35 degrees.
The bullet camera has built-in IR LEDs making the camera a true day/night camera. At complete darkness (0 lux) the camera automatically switches on the IR lighting for a razor-sharp image. The infrared lighting has a maximum range of 50 metres. The camera also has a Digital Wide Dynamic Range (DWDR) / counter compensation.
Camera images can be stored on a Dahua Network Video Recorder (NVR), Tribrid Recorder and Penta Brid Recorder. The camera also has the option of recording the camera images on a micro SD memory card up to a maximum of 64GB. The Dahua IP camera can also be added to the video management platforms of ExacqVision and Mirasys.
For iOS and Android, Dahua has a free app available for displaying the camera images on a smartphone and tablet. The app can be downloaded in the app store of your mobile device.
The Dahua IPC-HFW81230E-Z-S2 IP bullet camera has an IP67 and IK10 rating, making the camera suitable for outdoor use and vandal-proof. The camera can be powered by Power over Ethernet (802.3af) via a network cable. The camera can also be powered by a 12VDC adapter.
