3D Digital Noise Reduction (3D DNR) and Wide Dynamic Range (WDR)
To ensure excellent image quality under all lighting conditions, the Hikvision DS-2CD2125FWD-I features 120dB Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) and 3D Digital Noise Reduction (3D DNR). If the lighting conditions are not optimal, for example due to overexposure or backlight, WDR compensates so that you still have a good image. The 3D DNR technology prevents noise from occurring in dark video recordings.

H.265+ compression
Another notable feature of the Hikvision DS-2CD2125FWD-I is its H.265+ compression, the improved successor to the H.264 compression. The big advantage of H.265 is that the video files are twice as small as with H.264, while the high image quality is maintained. Power supply: 12V or Power over Ethernet
The Hikvision DS-2CD2125FWD-I can be powered via a 12V power adapter (not included) or via Power over Ethernet (PoE, 802.3af). With PoE, power is supplied directly over the network cable so no additional power outlet is required. To power the Hikvision DS-2CD2125FWD-I via PoE, you still need a PoE injector. This camera is ideal to combine with a DS-7604/8/16E1/E2/P PoE Network Video Recorder. If you are using the Power over Ethernet function, you do not need to provide a power point near the camera. If you do not use PoE, you can use an optional power adapter or PoE injector (see accessories).
