The detector is used for human motion detection in a building. Thanks to the combination of motion and microwave detection, the detector has a high alarm detection security.

When motion is detected in the monitored area, the MW detector is activated to confirm triggering of the PIR. Only after receiving confirmation from the MW unit, the alarm signal is triggered.
